Oh I love my belt. I kinda took good faith on whom suggested it. I was
a bone head and didn't even check the rotation on the pulleys. I just
slapped it on the only way it would, and fired 'er up. I feel pretty
lucky. I looked at the diagram, but never stopped to check the pulley
rotation on all of them.... The belt works. I need to go home for the
NAPA number though. It fits just a snug as the stock belt, a real pain
when in a hurry.... Warning, let the engine cool completely, ouch. I
have learned all of the spots for clearance, hahahahaha.... I know
exactly where to place my hands in the dark. It took a few burns, but
damn I made it, hahahahaha....

Hmmmm... I'm going to have to check on that idler pulley
routing.
Maybe that's why I could never find a belt that would bypass
both
        P/S and A/C. I currently use a Dayco 670 K6 for power steering
bypass. I think most of the power gain comes from the P/S
bypass,
but having a little less rotating mass in there can't hurt! :-)

By the way, here's a diagram of the proper routing which might
help
to picture what Jason was talking about above:

Are you sure its a Dayco? (That looks like a Gates part
number.)
