Mopar/Leach vs. JBA Headers Performance Stats

Greetings DML'ers,

I would like to know the performance differences
between the MOPAR/Leach and the JBA header packages
installed on the DML'ers V8 trucks. ie, Reg. & R/T
Dakotas.

The MOPAR/Leach header is of the Tri-Y design and
the JBA Header is of the Ram Horn design. The Tri-Y
design produces better low-end torgue, but does the
JBA ram-horn header preform? Truckin magazine did
a story on the MOPAR header & cat-back install on
a Dodge Ram SS/T truck and this upgrade only produced
5 to 6 hp's at the rear wheels on a roller dyno.

Both the MOPAR/Leach & JBA headers are quality products
and the JBA being alittle more pricey (409 Stainless Steel),
but I would like to know the performance differences.

More torque & horsepower for the $buck.

Thanks for your honest input.

Cheers,

CJB
