Chebby has been using torsion bar IFS on the 4X4's for quite a few years
now. I had a friend out in California that was driving one at least 8 years
ago with this suspension. The Dak's also use it. It may not be the
strongest, most reliable off road suspension, but it isn't new by any
standards.

I looked at one of the new Silverados here in Austin....YUCK! Chevy decided
to put IFS on the front of the 4WD's now...so much for offroad "hammering".
(Nothing beats the old Coil-Overs)
