I also experienced something simmilar. after i hollowed my cat i noticed my
mileage dropped too, at least until i started cruising a little faster on
the highway, i went from about 15 at 70 to 12 at 70 to about 17 at 75-80.
with the non-lockup A-518 and 3.55 gears i am cruising at around 2800 RPM.
My in town mileage still stinks tho'. Hope this helps.
