Yes, yes, YES..... How can we bug them even more????? I want to call,
write, mail, email, and whatever else possible to bug them. They need
to know we are serious and love to race these babies at the track. It's
time for Ma Mopar to help use crush to competition. I want my puter

Well I'll say one thing, the guys at mopar are consistent about
being inconsistent!

Today at the Detroit Autorama I spent some time bugging the guys
at the MOPAR display trailer. I asked three guys there when the HP SBEC
will be released for the Dakotas. I got three different answers, AARGH!

        MP tech #1= 2 weeks
        MP tech #2= 45 days
        MP tech #3= 2 months

My conclusion is that they are all full of  %$#@ !

The good news is that one of them asked, "What is it with you
guys, you are the seventh person today to bug me about that!" I think we
are finally getting thruogh to them! Good job guys, keep it up, we'll
get that computer soon.

The bad news is that I also talked to the Hypertech guys also.
They said they won't release theirs until May or June! But don't worry,
after hashing over some of the fine points of the reprogramer, I fould
that what it does is actually close to nothing at all! It does not
advance timing or deliver extra fuel. All in all, it's a piece of crap!

        P.S. I ran a 14.65 @ 96.7 mph on the G-tech today, Most of the
times I've had so far have been in the 15.10 @ 94 mph range. The
difference this time is that I did about 5 hard, smoky burn-outs just
before I ran that time on a deserted country road! Temperature was about
29 degrees.
