I would NOT have gotten the 5-speed in my R/T. I had thought about it until
my '95s 5-speed broke for the third (and last). I was almost afraid to race
it, for fear that it would break again. (of course I'm sure there are
plenty of 5-speed owners that have never had a problem with theirs).
