I'll have to dig thru some old msgs to see if I can find all the articles.
If memory serves me correctly, a group of consumers (i.e. Customers) and a
consumers rights group challenged Splitfire for misleading advertising
claims they were making regarding performance increases attributed to using
their product. Splitfire tried to do the legal two step for a while, but
when pushed for hard (repeatable & independent) scientific evidence to
support the claims... they could not. The suit that I'm thinking of was
terminated upon agreement on Splitfires part that they would revise their
advertising to eliminate the misleading information.
