If I do remove my cat, which I am not sure If I am going to do right
now. (Well, I'm sure the old one is coming off, as it rattles, just not
sure if a pipe or new cat is going in) What size test pipe should I use
as to not lose any low end?

This is very important to as I do NOT want to lose any low end.
