There's something to be said for buying quality. RF amps are good amps. I
would always spend the extra money on non-K-Mart equipment. Although RF
amps are good, I personally think there are better brands for that much
money. Clarion Pro makes a nice 50x4. And I'm also a fan of SoundStream
Reference series, as well as Orion. But by all means a 50x4 California
Profile is NOT the same as some of the bigger players.

In a message dated 99-03-31 23:45:42 EST, you write:

<< $425 for a 50x 4 AMP???? what are they crazy... I can get you a
100watt
x 4 California profile amp for around $110-$150. And an amp wiring kit
for around $30. That is ridiculous... >>

Well after taxes and everything, the RockFord Fosgate amp I really want with
a
$50 amp wiring kit would come out to $410. I just don't trust the product
quality nor do I trust the sound quality of an amp that costs $110-$150.
Should I? I am really not a car audio nut, I do however love quality
sounding
music. I have installed my self in my Dak a Pioneer DEH45DH CD deck, Pioneer
6.5" 2ways in the doors, and Pioneer 5x7" 3ways in the rear. Now it's time
for
an amp; I have just always thought and stuck to the phrase "you get what you
pay for". And I want a good quality amp. Any input?????
