The new Dodge Charger. Now that's a gas relief. Only available w/ LP. Not
to mention the some-odd 250 some-odd ponies under the hood.

Went to the show last night. Kinda depressing...

The 4 Door Dakota was there, but standing 15 feet
away wasn't my idea of seeing it up close. It looks
okay, but I wanted to checkout the rear seat room...Too bad (there
wasn't even a crowd gathered around it, and the woman standing next to
the truck had
no clue about it...and no flyers to speak of).

The WORST thing in the world was next to it:
A Flame Red RT with nerf-bars (used for running
boards), and a chrome Mopar Light bar/roll bar (that ran down the entire
top of the bed rails) with 4
offroad lights on top!!!! TERRIBLE!!! Those items would have been 'ok'
on a Sport 4x4, SLT+ 4x4, ANY 4x4!!!, but not an RT. Too bad. Aside
from that, there was a Viper GTSr there... I was explaining the
differences between a GTS and a GTSrto my wife , and said 'This is
pretty much race ready' and some bone head says 'Is not.. not at
$91000...' I said 'Well the GTSr is a limited production Viper, that is
intended for amateur racing' and he replied 'Well, this only a GTS with
the 'r' sticker on it...' and went on to tell his son, that it was a GTS
(that Dodge has 'faked' to look like a GTSr) because the window sticker
said 'Viper GTS coupe' for the vehicle description. I had to give my
$0.02 worth for this guy and went on to say 'The GTSr package is an
option, and isn't listed in the description, and if could read, you'd
see that on the options list, the $15,000 item states 'GTSr Package'...
Some people... Geez...
Saw the Ford 'Excessive' (or whatever it's called),
ugly.... Didn't see Plymouth anywhere (nor a Prowler)... Vehicles I
did appreciate looking at:
Jaguars new S series sedan, Jaguar XK8, Porsche Carrera 4, Saab Wagon,
Saturn (3-door... more like a 2+2 with a 3rd door), Jeep Grand Cherokee
(4.7L)- dual overhead cams.. hmmm, Toyota Tundra ($32,000 HA HA HA--
Good luck!)..... And MY favorite, and next vehicle if fuel prices don't
drop soon.. The EV1!!

Sam '99 RT x 2
(Current Gas price $1.559)
