Thanks for forwarding the filter study, it was quite interesting and

One thing I hope this fellow does is pull apart am Amsoil filter.
However, he needs to update his information regarding the Amsoil
offerings. The filter series he identified has been replaced with an
even
better series, the "SDF" 70 thru 75 series (the number is the size
determination).
The older model Amsoil units he referenced, the "ASF" were very similar
to the top of the line Wix. The new series uses a blended media which
combines cellulose with synthetics and fiberglass. In SAE tests it out-
performs the Mobil-1 and the Pure 1 in both filtration efficiency and
particle holding capacity....this is the filter line I use personally."
