My '97 Sport/CC does have tie-down on the floor next to the cab and about 6
inches up sides at the tail-gate. (The ones on the floor are under
removable rubber caps.)

On my '97 Dak SLT/CC, it didn't come with any Tie-Down holes. Didn't see
them until the '98's. (Go figure)

Guess the '97 Trucks were "BETA" Models. :)
