Body Lift & Headers Was: Re: JBA Y-pipe group buy

It's purely a header (Thourley) / body-lift thing. I found out about this
when I had it in to get the body lift done.

Originally, the kit was going to be sent to my house & I was gonna do the
bed and then take it into the shop and let them do the cab. I didn't want
to mess with the steering / shifter / t-case levers. Fortunately the order
got messed up and the kit ended up at the shop. I decided "screw it" I'll
just have them do the whole thing. I had an electric fan bungee corded on
to fix the fan clearance issue. They had the cab bolts off & started
lifting the body and found that after an inch the headers hit the steering
shaft.

It was about 6 months later that I had the suspension done.

I'm still mulling over other ideas about how to get this thing to work, but
I know my headers are gonna have to go.

Another tangent. I only had the fan bungeed on since I had the Flexilite
dual fan. I didn't want to punch hole in the radiator. Another problem
with the dual is on my '94 The radiator overflow bottle is connected to
the fan shroud. You need to loose the shroud (or hacksaw enough away) to
make the dual fan hit. I'm going to go with a single probably 16" with
brackets onto a new shroud. That should solve the fan mounting problems.
