Assuming you're using the factory wiring harness (and not a home made

I have a Hoppy 4 flat complete wiring harness, and I have tested the plug
coming out of my Dak about 10 times and nothing seems to be wrong here,
plenty of current coming through the prongs. Now along with the brake lights
being stuck on, when the turn signals are turned on, both left and right, the
lights act like the hazards are on and just flash flash flash, both the rear
trailer lights as well as the front trailer marker lights. Why can't I use
the ground on my Dak's wiring harness as the ground for the trailer as well,
as this is what I am currently doing. What now????? I do have heavy duty
flashers, they are about 4 years old, could these be the culprit???? THANKS!
