On an earlier post, Chad Niwranski stated that he saw a Sport with R/T
wheels. Was this a factory or dealer installed option? The reason I ask is
that there is a Dodge commercial on TV ("The truck stop of the new
south...") that shows what appears to be a Dakota Sport (black bumpers, no
wheel flares, not lowered, etc.) with R/T wheels. I have never seen this
option in the books, but I am curious to know if this is a hint at options
to come in 2000. Perhaps the 17" wheels will become the new sport tire and
handling package. Just some thoughts.
