Just got my Truckin'. The Lightning did 13.718 @ 99.939mph in the Truck Of the
Year competition. This is bone stock, no mods. It seems like it went slower
when C&D tested it.
Anyhow, my point is that they admitted that the Ford *badly* beat the
chebby(15.25@88) in *every* category but that they couldn't in a clear
concience(???) give the ford the win over the chebby because of "production
numbers". What a quandry they were in; on one hand you have a clear
winner(ford) on the other hand you've got their biggest advertiser. Oh me, Oh
my, What should we do? "I KNOW" shouted a geek in the corner "We'll call it a
tie!"
What a crock of shit. (Zipping up my nomex suit) I wonder if a Lightning can
fit through my garage door?
