RE: Ticking noise

Before I had my timing chain replaced, my v6 sounded like a bunch of tin
cans bouncing around @idle. Once it was changed the truck now preforms
better, and the only ticking I hear is the injectors doing there thing. If
you suspect your timing chain the noise would be louder at the front of the
engine, and only at idle. If the ticking goes away when the RPM's go up then
most likely it's the chain.
