To solve the stock transmission problem:
Have a good high performance shop tear the trans down to the bare cases.
Rebuild it using the TransGo "Mr. Shifter" kit, Rabestos clutches, increase
the line pressure, use a large Hayden Cooler and switch to AMSOIL fluid.
Replace your U-Joints if they are stock with Precision Heavy Duties (you'll
need them). Gear it with a 3.92 or larger TracLoc axle. You won't be sorry.
About $2500 and worth it.
