If the track is adhering to NHRA or IHRA standards, you won't need one.
(Only cars 13.99 and faster need one.) But I suppose its possible that the
track might require one to try and limit their liability or something. If
that's the case, then yes, a motorcycle helmet would be more than
sufficient. (Unless you meant a bicycle helmet... If so, I don't think
that'd fly, no.)
