Air Flow/Air Filter/Engine Requirement

Just curious if anyone knows the conversion or method(or what ever you want
to call it) to determine what is the optimal/best amount of air required and
what is the best air filter size for my engine( for best performance gains,
airflow, etc). I want to know this because I am STILL trying to decide
between Turbo City's Dual Air Filter Intake(which I really like, just not
sure if it is practical), K&N's FIPK/FABM, or just to leave my stock setup
alone with my Amsoil 2Stage Hi-Flo air filter. I like the FIPK/FABM setup
because the air filter is right ontop on the engine, where water/mud isn't
likely to get to it. I am not crazy at all about those newer setups which
place the filter farther and farther away from the engine, like QuickD's or
K&N's Generation II. Thanks for the info or any comments about preferences.
