Re: Limited Slip Question

The LSD (Otherwise known as a form of "POSI") uses clutch packs that allow
the gears to transfer power to the wheel under the most load. On a
straight line, both wheels have equal power on both sides. On Left turns,
the Right wheel has more power transferred to it...and vice-versa for Right
Turns.

Should both wheels "Burn" when you stomp on it...yes. Why does one tire
"stutter" on turns...that's inherent of POSI style differentials.

Cone, Locker, Spool, and LSD units all have this behavior when turning
under acceleration...with Spools being the worst or the bunch (but best for
1/4 miles).

There are more technical explanations for this, but that should make it
easy to understand. (There are also a lot if items left out in this
explanation for simplicity.)
