Alex,
I hear lots of popping sounds from my '99 CC as well. It's as though the
sheet metal is getting hot then cooling off or vice versa (expanding
and/or contracting). At least that's what is sounds like to me. I'd also
be interested if someone has an explanation for this. My wife said "This
is the poppin'est truck I've ever heard!"
