My dad-in-law's 99 4x4 Dak (v8) seems to every once in a while tach up
while the truck is not moving accordingly (tranny seems to slip)....
It usually happens when pulling out from a stop.....the engine will start
to pull just fine then all of a sudden it will tach up to 3,000 rpms or so
and the truck will be noticeably NOT increasing in speed.....Then the
tranny will seem to "grab" slowly and all will be fine...
The problem seems to occur once the vehicle has already warmed up.....
The problem is NOT repeatable....it happens randomly........
Anyone have similar problems?
