Yeah,
The R134 refrigerant is harder to condense than R12 was so you're
supposed to run a coolant fan all the time the compressor is running.
Not that you could do anything different when it was R12, you still
needed a fan.
That's just it though. I didn't run the A/C much since OCT 98, if at
all. Didn't have to during Fall, Winter, & Spring.
Now it's starting to get hot outside, so I HAD to hook it up. I think
it's going to work out just fine. We'll see.
The relay was built in to the control box that came with the fans. I
just didn't want to mess with it at the time. Too impatient and lazy.
