Idle Contact Switch

Help! My '88 Dakota V-6 with TBI has been stumbling or hesitating when
accelerating from a stop. I used a Monitor 2000 to check the trouble codes
and test the switches, acuators and sensors. I found Code 35 which is the
Idle Contact Switch. Also the switch does seem to be intermittent when
cycled by the Monitor 2000. The problem is I have no idea where the switch
is. My best guess to date is that it is a small limit switch that seems to
be buried in the gearhead of the throttle kicker motor. Am I even close or
do I have my head planted where the sun doesn't shine? Any help here would
be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

Tom
