> How much cooler? Where is the needle at operating temp? ---Mike 98 318
Mike, I'm doing this by memory. The needle on the gauge used to stay
straight up and down (Not sure of the temp numbers). Now it stays just
inside the far left mark on the gauge. When the temps out here reach
80+ degrees, the gauge moves less than halfway to the mid position.
I don't know how this will turn out but, here's an attempt to display
what I'm seeing:
before Now (after the 180 therm.install)
[---!---] [-!-----]
My lattitude here in Arkansas allows me to keep this thermostat
all year round. Its worked perfectly and I've never had a ping
once. If you live in the south, DO IT!
