Does Tony's use a new shaft? I'd be interested in seeing their design.
You might want to check out what I have to offer,
(http://members.aol.com/rdperform/auto/tbimod.html) right now I'm offering
the stainless steel shaft at no extra charge. Might be a good time to take
advantage.
The main thing we were focused on was quality. We created our own intake bore
centerlines (instead of using the factory's) and align them perfectly so that
the precision stainless steel shaft and blade assembly fit perfectly without
the loose tolerances required of the stock production parts.
The stainless steel shafts that we produce are intregal to reducing shaft
cross section by over half (more air flow) while creating a laminar airflow
for the best results.
Our new stainless blades are also CNC machined to an eliptical shape with the
correct edge angles and mounting counter sinks (we mount the new, thinner
butterflies to the top of the shaft now for a completely smooth surface)
which provide a nice, smooth, precision fit between the new intake bores,
throttle shaft, and blades that we created.
and of course, if you aren't happy with mine, you can return it - no
questions asked..
