What do you mean? Cheaper yes than to buy one from K&N,
but didn't you read my previous post? I fabbed up a clone
for less than $55. I think people are paying that much for
their 14", plus they're having to mod the coolant tube and
whatever else to keep it from rubbing. If you do a surface
area calculation, the cone has a lot more area than even a
14" x 3" round filter and the 3" tube has more than enough
capability to deliver that to the TB. I researched the
various intake mods a lot before I decided to go with this
one that gave me the most 'bang for the buck.' That's my
.02 on the subject--take it or leave it.
