"Richmond Gear R.O.D. Six-Speed Transmission .

The R.O.D. (Richmond Over Drive) is the first true aftermarket six-speed
transmission . With the same bulletproof design as Richmond's 4+1 Street
five-speed , the R.O.D. has features like rollerized main gear shafts ,
NASCAR-proven brass synchronizers and a billet steel input bearing retainer
that allowit to handle up to 450 ft-lbs of torque . Richmond even includes
an H-pattern shifter with reverse lockout and an internal reverse backup
light switch with harness connector .
You can have your R.O.D. six-speed with your choice of standard 3.27 or
optional 4.06 and 3.01 first gear ratios . The standard sixth speed ratio
is .76 , with .81 , and .86 ratios available . Please specify first gear
and sixth gear ratios desired when ordering . Other gear ratios available -
ask your sales rep .

Note: Transmissions with 4.06 first gearoption comes with 2.22 second gear
ratio , not available for Camaro/Firebird . Transmissions with 3.01 first
gear option comes with 1.88 2nd , 1.46 3rd , 1.19 4th and .62 sixth gear
ratios , not available for AMC and Chrysler .
