Try the Mr Gasket spring clamps(2 on each side) just forward of the axle.
This will prevent wheel hop and aid in getting that power to the ground.
Traction bars are for chebbies. And in my opinion look god awful.
Hooker makes Super Comp (3" collectors) full lenght tube headers for pre-96
Dakota's. $369.00 from Summit. You will find these superior to the "shorty"
headers. There is a little "fitment" to the install. but almost all headers
require this. If anyone is interesed in trying these, maybe a group buy,
e-mail me off list.
