Sounds like he just wants you to buy one from him. I'd say a 4x4 is about a
second slower than a 2wd in the 1/4, depending on mods. THere is a
difference in handling too because of the weight, height and suspension
system. Do the 2wd Daks out there have torsion bars? I never owned a 2wd
Dak so I'm not sure on that one.
