It's funny that we should be talking about computer speeds this week. I
have a cable modem hooked to a P166...... the damn modem is faster than the
computer is! I got tired of not being able to keep up with my son's PII 400
(I installed a network at home and we game together) and ordered a new
system this week. It's a PIII 450 w/ 256 megs of ram, 13Gig HD and a Voodoo
3 3000 card. I paid extra for a double CPU fan ($29.00) and for a double
case fan (another $29.00). I think the extra $$ will be a deal in the long
run.... Now onto the question.... can you overclock a PIII ? ANyone tried
this? (Don't think I will need to for a while, but it would be handy to
know when Intel comes out with it's 1gig cpu next year :-)
