A buddy of mine in CA has the SS/SLP edition. Very quick indeed...Just be
gentle to us the next time you come up to a Dakota. (Remember your roots
young man...) ;)
As for the supercharger, the SS models with the RamAir hood don't have
enough room for a supercharger due to the intake. Maybe in about a year or
so they'll have something...

I bought a camaro Z28 SS today and traded in the dakota. It really hurt but
DAMN! This car has BALLS!!!! 0-60 in 5 seconds. 1/4 mile in 13.4 seconds
stock! Shit, cant wait till vortech comes out with a blower! WEEEEEEEE
its has the new LS1 motor that has 327hp (which is under rated by gm) and a
6sp stick. This car is just as fast as the corvett and 20k cheaper. It will
aslo spank the mustangs (exept the limited edition 40k cobra)Gotta love them
american muscle cars!
I have experienced allot with my old dakota and the dml for the past year 1
1/2 yrs. The dml simply rocks and I will miss it and my truck.
