Yes Virginia, there is a HEMI-KOTA. :)

At yesterdays DML meet at the Ontario Mopar Nationals (St. Thomas, Ontario)
we witnessed a race that thrilled me beyond belief. we all did get
pictures, but if memory serves me right, I spotted this guy in the lineup
and made a bee-line to get a good spot to watch him run. I kind of left
everyone else behind. Ooops! I guess my excitement got the better of me.
He ran a 10.01. I can't give you much more as the speed etc., should be all
on film.

We all have a lot of pictures. The digital ones should have one or two of
him at the burn-out area smoking his tires, but I haven't downloaded them
yet. We all will still need to develop and scan our pictures.

The truck was a bone stock V6 3.9L before it was modified with a 426 Hemi.
Not much in that truck is stock now. The only things inside that were still
stock was the radiator, ashtray (non-functional), headlight knob, and
environmental controls (probably non-functional as well). After the race we
wandered over and talked with the driver. His name is Peter Storey from
Bradford, Ontario. There has been a recent write up on his truck in
"National Dragsters", June 11th issue. He was a very nice guy to talk to
and didn't know of the DML. I'm hoping he'll stop by and visit with us for
a spell.

We promise to get a meet page done up as soon as we can, but it will
probably take a bit of time as there was soooooo much going on at this meet
and sooooo many pictures.

THIS IS ONE SWEET TRUCK!
