The reason you are having this problem is because the weigh of your truck is
locking up the transmission. This is VERY bad for your transmission!!! The
proper way to park on an incline is to set the emergency brake while in
neutral. You can put the truck in park when the the emergency brake (and
only the emergency brake) is holding the truck.
