Hey all,
For those who are interested in how well the thunderform performs, I
have the skinny on it. My stereo shop had a sound clinic on Sunday and
I decided to go. They were testing RTA's and SPL's. RTA is Real Time
Analysis(Thanks Chad for telling me what the hell all this means) My
system breaks down as follows:
Sony CDX-C780
Audio Control Four.1 EQ
MTX 275X powering Focal 165KS components
MTX 2150X powering the Thunderform with 2 10" MTX 5000's.

My RTA was 28 out of 40 points, IASCA rules.(Thanks again Chad) I
wasn't beaten all day on the RTA's. My SPL surprised everybody, even my
salesman and installer. I got a 134.5 with my rear seats down. I was
told that was damn good for a prefab box with 2 10's. A guy with 2 12's
in a custom enclosure only got 137.?, so I was pretty happy. I beat my
buddy with a 12" bandpass, which we all know is boom anyway. I thought
it would push more air than my truck, but I was wrong. He got a 127 or
129.(I don't remember which) Needless to say, I was happy. I have a few
more things to do to my system yet, before I'm done. But are we ever
really done with accessories/mods?! :O)
