To keep the answer simple, yes. Unless there was a lot of oil coming out of
the hose (which is a problem and is more serious), the actual amount of "oil
vapor" that gets sucked back in to the intake via the PCV line isn't enough
to cause any degradation in power. If you want it for looks, by all means
have at it.
