Yes, they would still bolt up. The problem is the clearance between the
engine and the frame. If the headers were designed for x amount of
clearance and suddenly it wasn't there anymore, you get an interference
problem. I can't say anything about the EGR, I'm not familiar with that
one. I'll try looking it up in my manual and get back to you. (My '96 does
not have an EGR valve, but I use a '95 manual.)

What about the EGR? Why would it matter even if they did move the
engine? Would they still not bolt up? Is it something that I can modify
to work?
