hhmm...
you may wanna' try a cooler thermostat. Namely, 180 Degrees. It'll open
sooner and keep the engine alittle cooler. I didn't have any temperature
problems when my EGR went, but you never know =)

the new stat is a little cheaper, so I would try that first =)
