Yah, think of it this way! Try swinging a baseball bat underwater. Lot
harder to do then in the air. Cranks have to fight a fine mist and splashes
of oil constantly while spinning. It actually is like a hurricane of oil in
the motor. The windage tray keeps the oil below the crank, and in the pan.
