Nope... 8 1/4" (I'm sure that's what you meant :-) seems to be the rule in
everything I've seen or heard of from '97-'99 unless you have a stick or the
5.9 V8. Doesn't seem to matter what gearing, package or treatment (LSD) you
get, they all seem to be 8.25 unless you have the stick or the 5.9L V8.

This is strictly FWIW! as I'm stuck with my li'l ol' 8.25 so I haven't really
researched this thoroughly.

I think the 97' dak's came with the 8-3/4" and 98' up should have the 9-1/4"
rearend...?
