7/30/99 --- is that what he put on the ticket?
If so that is why he told you to plead not guilty, wrong date is an
automatic dismissal. Unless you just send in the fine w/out paying
attention, or walk in and plead guilty to an offensive that has not even
occurred yet!

I'd check the ordinance he put on the ticket, plus everything else.
Sounds like it was just a 'warning', of sorts.
