balance and blueprint will do nothing to your pre mag 6er,
all that entails is balancing your crankshaft, weighing each piston and rod
and ensuring the pistons and rods all way the same by either removing or
adding metal, (usually removing weight)
blueprinting entails measuring the exact movement of your reciprocating
assembly, crank rods, pistons, cam & lifters, rocker arms and all, checking
valve lift,
To increase performance in your premag sixer,
get a hotter ignition, the factory one sux.. it has very low voltage
tune up your truck, change the fuel filter, your catalytic converter is
probly shot, replace it, get a higher flowing exhaust system through any
aftermarket company.
Depending on the mileage your six probly needs an overhaul.
If you have an automatic, change the fluid, adjust the low and reverse bands
like the owners manual recommends, use synthetic oil in your engine, use it
also in your transmission.
Clean your fuel injection system, get a K&N filter for your air cleaner
get a set of headers from edelbrock or mopar performance.
and find some professional help where you live to get more guidance on your
buildup.
