The biggest problem with warp drive is bending other people's space. In
order to travel at light speeds one doesn't travel faster and faster but
instead warps the space around themselves. The higher the warp speed the
larger the space time warp. You can really P.O. your neighbors by warping
their space time while they're trying to sip a few cool ones. Our
neighborhood already has a law - no thru trucks or warp field generators
allowed.
