lifting truck

I always lift one corner at a time, via the frame.

-Chock the wheels at the opposite corners, leave in gear if stick, park
if auto, and set the parking brake. Jack up the rear by using a floor
jack under the center of the differential, (best to put a piece of wood
like a 2X8 or something so it's not metal on the saddle to metal on the
diff. contact. For the front, you must jack the truck up from the
crossmember (K frame) the runs side to side across the front end.
