I was flipping through the new Truckin' and they do a review of a
bunch of popular air intakes, of course on Chevy's (guess what
Truckin', there are other trucks out there!). Funny though, the "270"
hp Chevy put out 169 to the ground LOL! They tested the air raid too.
Basically, gains were like 5 hp and I think they lost torque after the
computer adjusted, because they dyno'd right after the swap, and then
after 100 miles or so, so the computer does adjust, but sometimes not
for the better. Good article, though.
