I don't know if you're trying to get me worked up or what but all I was doing
was sharing some info with the list. That '93 mitsubishi that I owned is still
around with over 100K on it with only basic maintenance. The only exception to
this was having to replace the timing belt at 55K (still considered normal
maintenance). I sold the truck to my company where it is abused on a daily
basis and it still runs perfectly well, including the a/c blowing ice cold. My
point is before you call something crap know about owning it first. If it
doesn't meet you're needs and you don't like the way it looks that's fie but
saying what crap something is without knowing about it is ritorical. As for
tainting the dodge name...through the eighties and even know mitsubishi
products are evident in the chrysler lineup. The current sebring coupe is one
as well as the dodge avenger. Pretty much any four cylender car and truck in
the eighties and early nineties was either a fairly complete mitsubishi
product or had dricetrain from them. I believe, but I am not sure, the current
dakota uses a misubishi inspired four cylinder. The earlier ones did! I am not
saying the truck was beautiful but it done exactly what a truck is designed to
do without ever having a major problem. That is all I will comment on this
subject.
