I was able to get it not to bang a few times, and that I guess will
happen fewer and fewer times as I get the quirkyness figured out.

The T- case is 2wd, 4-HI, 4-FT, N, 4-LO... You can actually drive with
it in 4-FT all the time if you want, with mpg loss and a blue 4wd-Full
time light on in the dash as the only drawbacks. I ran over quite a
bit of hard rocks, and on the semi steep stuff I ran in 4-LO...
Sonya's only complaint "The seat belt locked on me!!" with all of the
side-side motion.. HE HE.. just like my Dad's Chevy 4x4 years ago.

On the hard pack dirt road, I didn't want to get any binding from the
4-hi, so I went with 4-FT and it was fine... Even the stretch of sand
wash we went through, the 4-FT selection cruise right through. So
compare it to 2wd, I moved the selection, and proceeded to spin the
rears, yet still move... Went back to 4-FT, and the truck drove as if
on asphalt. Even a few rocky areas, the truck never spun a tire in
4-FT...

When is the next 4x4 meet?? HE HE..
