I noticed this on my stock TB as well (V6). Magnum Performance cured that
problem for me.

Subject: DML: R/T faster under 3/4 throttle than WOT???

Why is it that I swear to god my '99 R/T is awefully damn faster when I only
put the pedal about 3/4 of the way down than if I actualy put it to the
floor?

Trust me, its not psychological (sp?) either, I raced my friends car
twice...
once with it WOT and barely beat him (he has a damn '97 V8 T-Bird-, ie a
high
15 second car) and then I raced him again, and this time only "politely" put
the pedal down about 3/4 or so... and, I walked away from him...

I don't understand it.. am I somehow starving the motor somehow by going to
WOT? (I don't understand how this would even cause me to be slower than at
3/4 throttle though)

Please let me know what the hell is wrong!!!.. I'm half tempted to put a
damn
spacer under my pedal so I can't floor it.. ahha

My truck has 3,100 miles on it.

But, I had this problem before either of the above mods...
