Re: RE: illegal clears (so what) long

I don't know if the cop was more interested in me speeding or what, but
when I got pulled over this friday in Pasadena near Houston Texas,
nothing was said about them to me. I have the clear markers and tails
and the cop was looking right at them when he wrote my license plate
down. Supposedly, at least as I here it, the front markers are ok(like
you said they are like that on some imports in front and rear with
yellow turn blinkers) but the rear, having a red bulb is ILLEGAL. It
has something to do with state mandates about color of bulbs allowed on
vehicles and red only being allowed on police vehicles ...blah
..blah and having them is impersonating a police vehicle ..yackity
shmackity...long in short my @$$ has been ridden by officers for
miles at a time and I haven't been stopped for it. I know others who
have. I guess it all depends on the officer's mood.....all you do is
(if you kept em)out the stock back on take a pic or go to court show em
you fixed it and you're done. then ya just put em back on ...hehehe
